Head Porter up to £16k



My client is seeking an experienced Head Porter to run a small, friendly team in the South West of England.







As a Head Porter, you will be familiar liaising with close departments including Reception, Housekeeping and the Restaurant.







Being the Head Porter, you are solely responsible for managing the team of both day and night porters and thorough planning, direction and management ensuring that the service, operation and financial objectives of the Porter's department are achieved.







This role also involves ensuring that all areas are maintained to the highest standards of presentation, ensuring that all team members are confident and competent in the execution of their duties during an emergency evacuation, ensuring that all conference, function and special business requirements are set up and serviced in accordance with the function instructions, ensuring a pro-active approach to the offer of luggage assistance and managing the efficient delivery of additional services such as newspapers, room requests and any other reasonable request for assistance.



The successful applicant will also be required to drive the company vehicle in line with the operating schedule (only if needed).







For the right person, a salary up to £16,000 per annum is on offer, with a small accommodation rate per month being additional if required. Laundry and food meal services available also. Working hours will vary resulting in 2 days off a week.
