Senior Water Engineer
Our client is a multi-disciplinary design consultancy engaged in all aspects of engineering including building structures, highways, traffic and transportation, infrastructure, water, rail, power and environment and with over 1,000 staff in 18 UK offices and overseas.
This is an attractive position in Exeter to be part of a multi-disciplinary team of Engineers undertaking the detailed design of a series of waste water treatment schemes which are being undertaken under a framework design agreement with Wessex Water.
The successful candidate will have experience on the civil engineering design of a full range of wastewater treatment schemes including the modification and extension of existing treatment facilities. Also, experience must include an understanding of the mechanical and electrical aspects of waste water schemes to ensure that a co-ordinated approach is achieved in the design process.
You must be able to undertake project management, evaluation and design of water related projects, working on a long term framework with major water utilities. Client management and delivery of quality service to time, programme, budget and safety is essential.
Main duties, including specific projects to be worked on:

Maintain a good understanding of all relevant standards, Codes of Practice, Health & Safety Legislation and current relevant design methods.

Civil engineering degree and Chartered Status preferred
